Education
We provide quality education and personal support to young people 14-25 years of age who, for a variety of reasons, do not ‘fit in’ to mainstream education providers.
We aim to provide a safe, secure environment, with a sense of belonging which is conducive to a positive learning experience. We will equip young people with qualifications and/or skills to raise their aspirations, confidence, and self-esteem. Help them to gain a positive mind set to assist them into successful further learning, employment and in life in general.
How are you different from other education providers?
‘We fit education around the learner, not the learner around the education’
Each personal tutor genuinely cares, is qualified and experienced. They will mainly educate and support the young person in a one to one setting. We can be flexible and educate in a setting where the learner feels they can learn best. This could be in our Education Centre, their home, a local library, Youth Support Centre etc. Where possible, vocational learners will study in a work place setting relevant to the qualification that they are studying. We work towards integrating the learner into a larger group setting if appropriate.
We gather information from appropriate professionals, parents/carers and the young person to devise a bespoke, flexible and achievable learning plan agreed with the learner.
We review this plan regularly and adapt, brokering further support if appropriate for the learner.
All our learners will leave us with a ‘Next Step’ career plan for their future.
What qualifications do you offer?
We deliver Entry Level 1,2,3 and Level 1 and 2 qualifications. We understand that every learner is working at a different level and therefore will work flexibly with them at a pace that suits them.
